IMPROVE YOUR MENTAL HEALTH! 🧠
I personally started going to the gym and exercising for my own mental health. When I started I was in a bad place both mentally and physically. I was constantly stressed out trying to run a business and keep up with the demands of customers. I was so busy trying to help everyone else that I started to neglect myself. I began to stress eat and try find comfort in both food and alcohol.
Eventually living this way lead to me becoming overweight and feeling very unhealthy. I decided it was time for a change and began regularly going to the gym. The first thing I noticed was the more I lifted heavy weights, the more it cleared my mind. I was using my worries, fears, stresses and emotions to fuel my workouts. The more I done this the happier I felt outside of the gym in my everyday life, all of a sudden my big problems that I was facing didn’t seem so big anymore. I could problem solve better, I would sleep better at night, I began to look better in the mirror and my clothes started to fit better. My overall feelings about myself and my life became better!
It is scientifically proven that exercise releases endorphins in your brain that make you feel happier. 😊
