🏌️♂️ CAPTAIN’S DAY IS HERE! 🍾 ⛳️
With special message from our Vice Captain, Gregg Davies…
I would like to wish our Captain all the very best and hope he enjoys a successful day.
Hopefully, you’re all ready for a day of golf, laughs, questionable decision-making and, if the handicap system is feeling generous, a few decent shots!
As you’ll see on the 18th putting area, there’s a special message from our Captain. If that wasn’t enough excitement, we are also unveiling his 10th tee wall and steps!
Our Captain may have famously told you about how he and his old man, Billy Hodgson, built the wall back in the 1980s. Well, they’ve had a revamp and are looking great. A massive thank you to Nathan Richards for his skill, hard work and craftsmanship in rebuilding the steps.
For today to happen, a lot of work has gone in from the Captain’s Committee, the Executive Committee and all the volunteers who have given up countless hours to keep the course and greens healthy. Of course, a special thank you also goes to the green staff for getting the course looking its best and ready for the big day. 👏
There’s plenty of entertainment lined up, so make the most of it:

🎯 There is a nearest-the-pin competition on the 3rd, 6th and 9th, and a nearest-the-line challenge on the 18th.
