The crazy things people do for the love of Scottish Country Dancing - drive 240 miles each way for a full fun packed weekend of dancing! Catherine and I had a brilliant weekend, and met lovely people with same dancing passion. Our teacher was William Williamson, Chair of the Royal Scottish Country Dancing Society. He is such a great teacher and quite the entertainer! Our musician was the superb Ewan Galloway and what a lovely guy too.

Is it off to the Isle of Wight next for another fun weekend of dancing next February?

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Welcome everyone to our new page 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We’re the Macclesfield Scottish Country Dancing Group based in Langley, Cheshire. From beginners to the more experienced dancers, there is something for everyone at our Tuesday evening classes. We have a fantastic teacher Pam who focuses on steps and formations for beginners & improvers in the first hour, and dances for those more advanced after the interval. Classes are super fun with good mix of ages and skill levels.

💃Classes start for the Autumn Term on Tuesday 10th September at 7.30pm at Langley Methodist Church Hall. First class is free too! If you would like to attend or simply find out more information, please comment below and we’ll be in touch. Hope to see you all soon 💃
