Another fantastic weekend for MAD Tri! 💪🔥

🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️ Helvellyn Triathlon
A huge well done to Fiona and Fiona, who both took on the challenging Helvellyn Triathlon! What an achievement 👏⛰️

Congratulations to Arran, who raced at Bala Triathlon this weekend! Great work! 💥👏

🏊‍♀️ Sunday Swim
We also had our weekly Sunday swim, where a fantastic group of our less experienced swimmers have just completed a 6-week coaching course.

Over the six weeks, they’ve built their confidence, improved their technique and speed, and most importantly, found even more enjoyment in the water! 🏊‍♀️

🏅 MEDAL MONDAY — CONTINUED! 🏅

We’re back with another round of weekend highlights! 👏

🏊🚴🏃 Nat wrapped up his British Para Triathlon Super Series campaign with a fantastic 3rd place finish on the day, securing 2nd overall in the series! 🥈👏 What a way to finish the series! 💪

🚴 Mark led another social ride, getting the club out on the roads and enjoying a great morning of riding together. 🙌

🏊‍♂️ We also had our weekly coached Sunday swim session at King’s Sports Centre, with plenty of hard work being put in. 💪

A brilliant weekend all round — well done everyone! 👏🔵

🏅 MEDAL MONDAY 🏅

What a weekend for the club at the HUUB Triathlon Relay Championships at Holme Pierrepont Point in Nottingham! 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We had three teams representing the club:

🔵 Katie, Hannah, Matt & Arran
🔵 Nikki, Rachel, Richard & Matt
🔵 Pippa, Yin, Tao & James

And a huge congratulations to Katie, Hannah, Matt & Arran, who put in a fantastic performance to finish:

🥉 3rd – British Triathlon Mixed Senior Category
🥈 2nd – English Triathlon Mixed Senior Category

A brilliant achievement and a great result against some strong competition! 👏🔥

Well done to everyone who raced and represented the club — we’re incredibly proud of you all! 💙

What a weekend for the club! 👏

A huge congratulations to Tao, who took on the full-distance Geordian Triathlon! 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️💪 An incredible achievement! 👏

And over in Estonia, Michael and Sam completed the Tallinn 70.3 🇪🇪🏅 — another fantastic performance from the club! 💪

Back home, Ben led our intermediate social ride through the beautiful Cheshire Plains 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️, while we also had another great coached Sunday swim session at King’s Sports Centre 🏊‍♂️

A massive well done to everyone who got involved this weekend! 👏

A huge congratulations to Katie, Zac and Matt who took on Ironman Leeds this weekend!

A special shoutout to Katie, who finished an incredible 3rd in her age group! What an achievement! 👏🔥

Back at home, Saturday saw two club rides heading out 🚴‍♂️

And to round off the weekend, we had our Sunday coached swim session at Kings 🏊‍♂️

Another fantastic weekend for our members! 👏

A huge congratulations to Matt, who took on the Salford Triathlon. Great effort and another race completed in club colours – well done! 💪🚴🏊🏃

Away from racing, we had another brilliant weekend of training:
🚴 Fiona led one of our club rides, taking on some of the local hills.
🚴 Mairi led another club ride, giving members another great opportunity to get the miles in together.

🏊 We also rounded off the weekend with our regular Sunday swim at Kings Sports Centre, with another great turnout and plenty of quality training in the pool.

Whether you raced, rode, swam or supported others, well done everyone. Keep up the fantastic work! 🟠🔵

Another huge weekend of racing for MAD Tri! 💙💛

👏 Congratulations to Arran, Zac and Tao, who all took on the Outlaw in Nottingham! 💪🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️

👏 Well done to Afy and Yin, who competed in the T100 London! 🔥

👏 And a huge congratulations to Ben and Ele at the Snowman Triathlon! ❄️🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️

🥇 Ele took the win as the first female and was also the first athlete overall out of the water! 🏊‍♀️🔥

🥇 Ben won his age group and finished 5th overall male! 💪👏

Amazing performances all round — congratulations to everyone who raced and represented MAD Tri this weekend! 💙💛

Another busy weekend for MAD Tri! 💙🧡

🏃‍♀️ Kirsty took on the Eiger Ultra Trail and finished 2nd in her age group! 🥈⛰️ What an incredible achievement — congratulations, Kirsty! 👏🔥

🚴‍♀️ Saturday saw two group rides take place, with Fiona leading a group ride through the hills, while Mark led a social group ride. Great to see plenty of members getting out on the bikes and enjoying the weekend together! 🚲🙌

🏊‍♂️ Sunday saw our coached swim sessions at Kings Sports Centre, with another great session in the pool.

Well done to everyone who got out training and racing this weekend! 👏💙🧡

Please note that Sunday swim times will change from Sunday 26th July until Sunday August 30th inclusive.

The afternoon sessions will move to the Sunday morning at either 0900 or 1000. Details are in the event details in Spond.

Please note the Wednesday sessions remain unchanged at 20:15

🏅 MEDAL MONDAY 🏅

A huge congratulations to our members who were out flying the club colours this weekend! 👏

🇪🇸 Dee represented her country at the Sprint Duathlon European Championships in Banyoles, Spain. Competing on the international stage is an incredible achievement, and we’re all proud of your performance!

🌊🚴🏃 Kev and Heike took on the Boundary Breeze Sprint Triathlon, putting in brilliant performances and showing the hard work they’ve put into training.

Congratulations to all three of you – we’re proud to have you representing the club at events both at home and abroad. Enjoy those well-earned medals! 🥇🎉
