Looking for a football team? Don't know where to begin? I am a level 1 Football Coach (ex Man City Youth Player) and have come together with Macclesfield Pride, in the hopes to start an LGBTQ+ football team/community.

We are having a one-off game in FEB 2024, just in time for LGBTQ+ HISTORY MONTH! In view and hope of having further games and grow together as a community and who knows even a as football club!

If this is something you feel interested in then please Direct Message me as we need to know numbers in order to get this set up and booked!

Minimum number of players needed is 12 in order to play a 6-a-side game.

The end game is to create a safe and welcoming environment for those who love football.

CALLING ALL LGBTQ+ PEOPLE IN CHESHIRE EAST AND SURROUNDING AREAS!

In light of recent events in the football community, where an MTF/ABMAB person felt they needed to quit from the girls football team due to her powerful shot on goal breaking an opposing players leg! Which led to the other teams refusing to play against said player! Link below for full story.

Francesca Needham, 30, withdrew from the South Yorkshire-based Rossington Main Ladies 'for the foreseeable future' after opponents refused to play the team last weekend.
