1 - 7 June is Volunteers’ Week so here’s a shout out to MASC volunteers!

The swimming club wouldn’t exist without its volunteers - from the committee to our youngest helpers in the water, everyone involved with the club donates their time and skills week on week.

Please join us in expressing our gratitude to each and every one of our dedicated volunteers!

Couple of reminders ahead of our last session of this term on Tuesday:

We are still accepting donations / sponsorship from the Swimathon on 8th March. Please bring your donations along on Tuesday. Many thanks to the volunteers who have already donated!

If you missed out on Badge Night this week, please let us know and you can do your swim on Tuesday 24th March.

Please note, if you were hoping to swim 2 miles this week and ran out of time, you can try again on Tuesday 24th. Please come at 7pm *and bring someone onto poolside who can count your lengths* as our regular volunteers will be needed for:

Half ‘normal’, half ‘fun’ swim night to celebrate the end of a successful term!

A big thank you to the parents who helped out tonight with Badge Night! Nights like Badge Night are only possible with extra help on poolside.

And a massive thank you to all our volunteers who donate their time and skills each week to help the people of Macclesfield learn this important skill!

Well done to all our swimmers (children to adults) who took part this evening! You should all be very proud of your achievements!

Don’t forget it is the AGM tomorrow evening at 7:30pm in the leisure centre cafe. Everyone welcome.

And next Tuesday is the last session for this term! It will be half ‘normal’ swim and half ‘fun’ swim. Any parents/grandparents who are able to join in the ‘fun’ swim, please do, your children will love it!

And lastly, any more donations for the Swimathon will be gratefully accepted next Tuesday!
