Sport Systems Limited Sport Systems "Help Races Run" by providing race management and chip timing. Sport Systems are best known for chip timing.

Each year we time about 100 events from large races like the Paddock Wood Half Marathon to much smaller local events like the Wedding Day 7K and Reigate YMCA 10K. In addition to event timing Sport Systems also provide end to end entry management services processing tens of thousands of race entries each year. Whatever your running event requirements, Sport Systems have the experience and expertise to manage it.

🙌🏻 The return of the Aberdeen Half Marathon did not disappoint! 🙌🏻

After years without a half marathon in the city, it was fantastic to see the Aberdeen Half Marathon 2026 make its long-awaited return. The atmosphere was electric, with incredible determination from every runner and fantastic support from spectators lining the course.

Delivering an event of this scale takes months of planning, collaboration, and dedication. We were incredibly proud to provide the complete end-to-end event management, race timing, and operational support that helped bring Aberdeen's first half marathon in years back to the city.

A huge congratulations to everyone who crossed the finish line, whether you achieved a personal best, completed your first half marathon, or simply embraced the challenge. Every runner played a part in making the day so special. ✨

We'd also like to say a huge thank you to the organisers, volunteers, marshals, sponsors, partners, and spectators whose enthusiasm and hard work made the event such a memorable success.

We're incredibly proud to have been part of this landmark event and can't wait to return in 2027 for an even bigger and better weekend of running! 🏃‍♂️🏅
