Production of the SUPALITE bothy will start soon and be on the website. We've just been so busy maintaining regular spec stock that we haven't had chance to put down stock. However the summer months give us that chance and so won't be long

SUPALITE BOTHY I'm pleased to say that we have a prototype ready to test. The four person here weighs only 305 grammes a saving of of at least 40 %. So far so good will hopefully be launching it soon when we've found some bad weather to test it in

BOTHY LITE
development of an extra light weight group shelter moved a step closer today with a successful sewing trial. Further product testing will determine how these perform outdoors

The hope is that a std two person shelter will only weigh about 170 grammes

JDS have been Manufacturing SUMMIT Emergency shelters and Bothy Bags for nearly 20 years. Supplying mountaineers, outdoor Ed, Guides and Rescue teams throughout the UK and overseas

It all began through my work as a Voluntary Ranger for the Lakes National Park where we were advised to carry bothy bags to protect people from hypothermia on the fells
