Our deepest congratulations to Leah who today won Gold at the Welsh Closed Championships in Cardiff!

Leah's Gold medal performance has also secured herself a place on the 26/27 Welsh Minors Squad which will provide many new opportunities for Leah to develop her Judo going forwards!

Once again congratulations on becoming a National Gold Medalist Leah! You deserve it! 🙏

Today was our first ever 'Summer Special' and what a day it was! ☀️🙌

Inspired by the traditional Japanese 'Shochu Geiko' martial arts training period held during the hottest days of summer, our players enjoyed getting back into Judo after their summer break with three hours of tough training!

Despite the typical British summer rain the children certainly made the most of their session, working well together and spurring each other on to improve and we wish two of our competitors; Amber and Leah the best of luck when they take to the tatami next weekend!

Fylde Coast Judo resumes from next week! It's the perfect opportunity to get involved and see what all the fuss is about!
