Lynton & Lynmouth Bowls Club Lynton and Lynmouth Bowls Club meets on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons for casual roll-ups at 2pm. Anyone is welcome to join and learn to play.

We arrange friendly matches with other local clubs from April through to mid September.

The end of the season has arrived and the final inter club game finished with the Captains team beating the Presidents. Prize presentation of the inaugural Mixed pairs competition to Sheena & Pete and also the singles competition to Norman. You'll see us on the green over the coming weeks preparing it for next season and around the grounds beautifying it. The last external game of the season and unfortunately we ended on a loss. Bideford outplayed us on all 4 rinks and the final score was Bideford 72 - Lynton 50. They were a lovely friendly bunch and we look forward to playing them again next year. The last game of the season is this Saturday when the Captains team will take on the Presidents team.

The final match of the Greenkeepers cup & the Teapot cup was decided today. We repaid Porlock with a bit of Lynton mizzle to change the run of the green halfway through, and even though both men & ladies teams narrowly lost today, we came out victorious overall. The Lynton ladies winning the Teapot Cup 89-45 and the men winning the Greenkeepers Cup 98-88. The Greenkeepers Cup has been a long-running match since 1985, and we look forward to playing Porlock again next year.

The first leg of the Greenkeepers & TeaPot cup was held today at Porlock. We managed to avoid the rain for the first 13 ends and then got got a bit soggy. The decider happens next Thursday at home in Lynton where hopefully we will be victorious. Congratulations to both teams who fielded new and upcoming players. It was a lovely afternoon as always with a very friendly team.

Yesterday we played against Bideford Victoria Park and they outplayed us on most rinks, beating us Lynton 41 - Victoria Park 95. They are a much bigger club than us and have many County players, but it was still a lovely afternoon and we look forward to playing them again next year.

A triumphant game against South Molton this afternoon. They were a lovely team to play and laughter rang out over the green. The score was Lynton 60 - South Moulton 50. Next year we'll need stadium seating! 12 spectators which is a new record for us. Thank you so much for coming to support us.
