A request for help...if anyone is available Tuesday 5th May time: TBC we will begin to decorate the Harbour. The decorations will stay up until well into June if not beyond. If we have enough helpers this may only take the day. As always all help great fully welcomed.

Good morning shipmates
Membership is now due, same as last year until the AGM (we will announce AGM date soon) when it is due to go up a tickle.
Easiest option is to rejoin online - https://lynmouthsailingclub.uk/
Thanks to Sally form has been updated and you can pay online via BACs. It is possible to print the form and pay in cash if you must. When we have cash AND form we can give The Ancient Mariner Office the nod to update your old Club Card. We can issue new cards if yours has seen better days or you are a new member.

Thanks for rejoining, it is very much appreciated. The Membership fee covers the Club Insurance (which covers our events and the clubs assets) and RYA membership which gives us valuable free legal advice.

What a spectacular photo by Shaun Davey of the beautiful Lynmouth lights this year!

We'd like to thank all of the marvellous volunteers for spending their time putting the lights up in very chilly conditions, all to make the village look as twinkly as possible this festive season. Thanks as well to the volunteers from the Lynmouth Flood Memorial Hall who helped to decorate the Memorial Hall, and the Lynmouth Boat House.

A further thank you for the generous donation towards replacement lights from Lyn Valley Society’s Community Bookshop and The Bath Hotel. If any other local businesses or local groups would like to donate to next years lights, do let us know!

Lynmouth Raft Race

Huge thanks to everyone who gave their time to do the fastest flour bag packing EVER - flew through it! The flour bags will be available to buy from under the deck outside The Ancient Mariner / Simone’s Sarnies.

Who’s getting excited for this afternoon? We are!

Head down to the manor green in Lynmouth to give the rafts a good look over from 5pm and work out who you think will be first across the line (and who your flour bag targets are..!). Grab your flour bags and get at the ready! The race commences around 6pm. Happy raft race day!
