New Forest Pub Walks

I’m very excited to be planning a series of walks this summer, circular routes taking in Wildlife and views, from the best pubs in the New Forest. Exciting times!

Well hasn’t the world changed since I started New Forest Pub Walks in 2018!
I’m hoping to start the walks again this year.
The concept is fantastic, meet mid morning at a beautiful New Forest pub, use their car park, enjoy a tea/coffee then set off on a leisurely guided walk through some of the most stunning countryside, learn about the ponies, history & wildlife of the New Forest, then get back to the pub just in time for lunch (optional). Sounds good to me!

Tuesday’s walk starts at the Sir Walter Tyrrell at 9.30 for coffee.
You’ll wander through ancient woodland, hear about the death of a king & enjoy magnificent views across the . Back to the pub for lunch!

The Sir Walter Tyrrell is a delightful pub situated in Brook in the New Forest. Many people call it ‘The Gem of the New Forest’.

Now that the rain has passed, join me on a 2 hour walk from the remote High Corner Inn on Monday morning. Coffee at 9.30 then we set off at 10, learning all about the forest way of life & hearing stories of witches, gypsies and smugglers. We’ll be back in time for lunch of course.
Adults £12, U18 £6, well behaved dogs welcome.
Please note this is a 2 hour walk over rough terrain.

The High Corner Inn is the best kept secret in The New Forest. We are truly 'in the middle of nowhere' down a gravel track where you will experience the beautiful New Forest inhabitants: ponies, deer and a vast array of other birds and animals.

Good morning 🙂
The walk today starts with coffee at 10 at Station Tearooms, then we’ll set off on a good 2hr walk through woodland, up onto open heath, down to the watering hole and back along the old railway.
