In just a few days Lymm RFC will be launching girls rugby, on Wednesday 9th September!!

All ages are welcome to come down and give rugby a try, with a session led by our Senior Squad Vice Captain Josh Hadland!

Also joining Josh will be special guest & Sale Sharks Women’s player Kendall Waudby!

New Signing!!

Another from the LJMU front lines, Ollie McCarthy has joined the club!

Mark Williams said: “Olly is a destructive and physical player who’s comfortable across the second and back row. He has been really impressive in the BUCS game with LJMU and I have no doubt he will be the exact same in a Lymm shirt.”

Captains 2026-2027!

Congratulations to Tom Shard and James Pitcher on being selected Co-Captains for the 26/27 season!

Both lads have over 250 caps between them and have risen through the M&J ranks!

Shardy said: “It is an absolute honour and privilege to be asked to be co-captain, I’ve come through the M&Js and played a lot of games so to be asked this year to be captain is a huge honour, this is a very special club to be part of. I’m excited for the season ahead”

Pitch said: “I’m extremely honoured to have been chosen to be a co-captain for the upcoming season with Shardy. Playing for lymm has given me so much and I’m hoping that this role will allow me to give back to the club. I’m excited for the season to get underway on Saturday and based on preseason we’ve got the chance to have an excellent season and compete towards the top of the league.”
