Lymm Badminton A local badminton club that plays most Thursdays (school permitting) at a relatively competent level Welcome to Lymm Badminton Club! Why not come and try it out.

The club plays on Thursdays at Lymm Leisure Centre between 8:00 and 10:00pm. Our focus is on playing badminton for friendly, competitive fun and fitness. You can play as a visitor for a couple of weeks and if you enjoy it you can become a member. The club consists of mixed age ranges and abilities. We have four badminton courts and play doubles matches (both mixed and single s*x) to maximise playi

ng time. The games often involve players of mixed abilities. We don’t have a standard requirement for ability. However, we request that you have played badminton before enough to be able to serve consistently and be familiar with the rules of the game (new scoring). We don’t offer coaching but the more experienced players are always happy to give advice. You will find that playing badminton regularly will rapidly improve your performance. We have an annual membership fee of £100 (less than £2.50 per week). If you join part way through the year you will only pay for the remaining time left; visitor fees are £5 per night. The badminton club is run by members and is a non-profit making organisation.

If your child is between 6-12 years and interested in badminton, they can join our badminton sessions on Saturday at WA4 - Bridgewater High School. We have a 4 courts sports hall and only 5 spaces left. (updated on 13/07/2022). Get in touch for more details:
