⛵ Thinking about getting out on the water this summer?

Come and see what Lymington Town Sailing Club is all about at our Open Day on Saturday 27 June.

Whether you want to sail, learn, race, make new friends or simply enjoy a drink overlooking the Solent, there's a place for you at LTSC.

Try sailing, take a trip on one of our motorboats, meet members, explore our RYA Training Centre and discover why we're much more than just a sailing club.

Inter Club Sandcastle Competition - Saturday 13th June

This event is always a highlight, with the chance to sail down to Totland Bay, on the IoW and join Hurst Castle Sailing Club, Keyhaven Yacht Club and Yarmouth Sailing Club for a sandcastle building competition on the beach at low tide. It’s a real family affair and you can get there however you want; dinghy, keelboats, motor launch or ferry. Just make sure to bring spades, buckets and a ton of imagination!

There will be a briefing on the Club lawn at 11am and we will launch at 11.30am to sail in a flotilla with RIB cover. There are specific areas to land or raft once we get to Totland, as we don’t want to beach on the sandcastle zone.

☀️ Weekend Wanderers is back! ⛵

If you've ever fancied spending a day on the water, building your sailing experience or simply enjoying great company afloat, this is a fantastic opportunity to get involved.

Whether you're already an experienced sailor, working towards your Competent Crew qualification or just keen to learn more about cruising yachts, our volunteer skippers will do their best to get as many people out on the water as possible.

Congratulations to our Junior Sailors
Last Sunday, Robby Mayo became the first junior to win a Sunday Club race.

By finishing first in Fleet 3 of race 8 of the Summer Points Series in his Tera, he beat a number of very good adult sailors. This coupled with his 8th in race 7 gave him one of the best scores for the weekend.

There are an increasing number of junior sailors competing on Sundays.
Fleet 3 includes the junior classes, for example Teras, Fevas and Toppers and we look forward to seeing more of these on the Sunday starting line.

📣 Lymington Dinghy Regatta, UK 🇬🇧

📆 20-21 June 2026

The Lymington Dinghy Regatta always attracts a great RS Aero fleet, helped by the strong local Aero community and the fantastic sailing conditions of the Western Solent. It's also an ideal chance to get some sea racing practice before the summer championships.

Hosted jointly by Lymington Town SC and Royal Lymington YC, the event features five races over two days, followed by the regatta's famous tea and doughnuts after sailing. Saturday evening brings the regatta social and dinner at LTSC, with camping available just a few minutes' walk from the clubs for those making a weekend of it.

Owing to the current and forecast wind being well above sailable, this evening’s Wednesday Spring Series Race 9 is cancelled. N over A is displayed.

Notwithstanding the weather, you are invited to spend the evening here at the Club with us! The bar will be open at 17:30, food from 18:00, serving Mac & Cheese, Loaded Fries & Fish Cakes. As a special incentive we are offering LTSC members half a pint of anniversary beer or a small glass of anniversary wine FREE with every meal purchased.

We will also be showing the exciting Day 2 racing from SailGP New York on the TV so come on down!
