I currently have limited space for new swimmers who would like to start private 1:1 swimming lessons in Pennington.

You can enjoy:
🏊 A private pool which is heated to a toasty 30c (Best suited to non-swimmers, beginners and improvers due to the dimensions of the pool)
🏊 A fully qualified and experienced instructor who has been teaching for many years, including many years experience with SEN & adults (but I am happy to help anyone who would like to learn) I am also DBS Checked and insured.

🏊 Swimming Lessons will be back in 2026 🏊

Specialising in private swimming lessons I am pleased to be able to offer another season of lessons in our private pool based in Pennington.

I am experienced in teaching all ages and abilities with 16 years experience in many settings meeting the needs of many individuals.

- Private heated pool with exclusive use
- 1:1 support from a fully qualified instructor who is in the water with you
- No other users swimming at the same time
- All abilities welcome (The pool naturally works better with non-swimmers, beginners and improvers however please do feel free to enquire at any ability and if I cannot help I will signpost you to others who can)
- Qualified & Experienced with SEND
- Flexible options of daytime and early evening
- Lessons are offered on a flat rate of: 30minute 1:1 = £25.00 per lesson and are bookable in small blocks (45minute lessons and 2:1 lessons are also available.

As a new season approaches I thought I would take the opportunity to say hello & reintroduce myself.

My name is Becky & I am a local swimming instructor based in Pennington with a private pool. Over the years I have been lucky enough to be able to support many in their swimming journey and I am pleased to say that in 2026 I will reopen my diary.

I have worked with all ages from baby all the way through to adults and it is never to late to learn. All lessons are private, with only 1 lesson in the pool at a time and I tend to teach from the water wherever I can especially for those who are non-swimmers, beginners or who have any fear. I have over 16 years experience in teaching swimming including SEN & Water Trauma.

The pool used is private, heated and allows for the focus to be on whatever you need it to be with no distraction.

When I am not in the pool you will usually find me conducting regulated training and quality assurance for not only my own training centre but for others. I am an aquatic, first aid, lifesaving, pool plant and safeguarding trainer so my weeks are varied and never the same, although I do hope that 2026 is a little more pool based.

Build yours or your child's swimming skills this February with a 4 day intensive course of private swimming lessons.

Limited spaces available:
9am, 9:30am, 10am, 10:30am

Cost:
1:1 lessons - £100 for the 4 sessions

🏊 A new school term means new swimming lesson availability 🏊

I have limited afterschool spaces remaining for the next 10 weeks (minus half term), however I have a good amount of daytime availability.

Lesson availability from next week and are as follows.
Monday: New spaces available soon - please register interest direct
Tuesday: Fully booked
Wednesday: 4:45pm, 5:15pm
Thursday: Fully Booked
Friday: 5:00pm

All lessons are 30minutes unless stated otherwise.

Price: For 1:1 lessons I charge a flat rate of £25 per 30minute lesson on a 1:1 basis - all bookings are made in rolling blocks.

2:1 lessons - please enquire about these lessons directly for pricing and whether it would be suitable.

Daytime availability:
This is perfect for adults or children who are home educated that would like a quieter setting. Please message direct with your interest and I can work with you to find a suitable slot.

💙 Therapy Swims 💙
You asked again and I have been working hard to deliver. I am incredibly excited to announce that in April Therapy Swims will be launching.

These sessions will allow you to book a 30minute slot for a maximum of 2 people so you can use the pool at your own pace. There will be lifesaving provisions on-site for the duration of every session but other than that you will have this to yourself.

I have tried to keep the cost as low as possible for this and have locked in that this will remain the cost for 2025 - £20 for up to 2 people for the pool to yourself for an undisturbed 30minutes. (More than 2 people, send me a message 😁)

These swims will be available around lessons of which every Saturday morning a list of available times for the following week will be released and booked on a first come first served basis, and in addition to this there will be 5 weekly sessions available to be booked.

These swims will be available from the week commencing Monday 7th April 2025.

💙 I thought that its about time I re-introduce myself. 💙

Hi! I'm Becky. I am a private swimming instructor with a private pool based in Pennington, who has a passion for helping children and adults to be safe and confident in and around the water.

Every lesson is very different where we work on goals set by the individual in a calm, fun and nurturing environment.

Although I run under Swim with Becky the atmosphere is not that of what you may be used to or what may come to mind when you think about swim schools or swimming providers. My lessons are very relaxed, the environment is totally unique and my main aim is helping individuals to learn to enjoy the water and gain confidence, be safe and improve technique.

All lessons are private lessons and there is only ever one lesson in the pool at a time so distractions are minimised and privacy maintained. Lots of winter work has been completed and I am very excited to share this with the local community now to ensure that there is a consistent provision for private lessons moving forwards.

☀️ Remaining easter holiday availability for intensive lessons will be released.

🩱Limited private hire spaces will be listed. There will likely be a maximum of 10 sessions available so if you would like to add your name to the hire mailing list please email or message.

📧 After easter private lesson spaces will be released. During the summer term lessons run a bit longer so I am excited to be able to add in some additional spaces.
