Absolutely brilliant workout today... we're keen to to a full hyrox (before the event itself) to get a rough idea of how it feels to do the whole lot, and vaguely how long it will take us. But with limited access to a sled, we decided to do it all minus the sled push, sled pull and associated 2 x 1km runs. Lots to more to work on and improve, but we're both super happy with getting this lot done in 1 hour 11 mins (minus warm up and cool down of course) 👏🏼
It was tough, we worked hard, but it was manageable. We split everything 50/50 for now, and we estimated distances for burpees, farmers carry and lunges. And yes we know we did 5 extra wall balls 🤪. Runs were all on the treadmill at 10kph (6 min / km). We can both run a faster pace than this for 5km, so this is an area we should improve on time. Everything else we can hone too to be as efficient as possible.
Biggest weaknesses to work on were burpees, which are just brutal and totally destroyed Ele, and farmers carry which we both struggled with today - Bee with grip and Ele with elbow injury. Everything else was really good for where we are in our training 💪🏼💪🏼

Burpee technique, splits and changeovers
Row changeover
Farmers carry to try chalk
Speed work for runs
Possibly different splits for ski erg
