Royal Lymington Yacht Club

Royal Lymington Yacht Club Successful on the water, friendly and welcoming ashore. The club’s popular bar and restaurant provide arguably the most stunning riverside views in Lymington.

Situated in a prime location on Lymington River, the Royal Lymington Yacht Club is a warm and welcoming home of yachting, dinghy sailing and motor boating. Established a century ago, the club holds an enviable record of success on the water, counting many national, international and Olympic champions amongst its members. The Club runs regular dinghy and keelboat racing throughout the season, as well as cruising sails, rallies and meets. A renowned RYA affiliated training centre, RLymYC provides regular training courses and hosts a breadth of racing and sailing regattas, championships and events. The thriving Junior and Youth section welcomes sailors to join regular year-round training and inspires a life-long passion for sailing. Endorsed by patron HRH The Princess Royal, RLymYC has organised ‘Wednesday Junior Sailing’ for over 35 years to teach seamanship, dinghy sailing, rowing and powerboat skills to children in the local community who might otherwise not get the opportunity. There is a busy social programme for members of all ages and the venue is available to hire for private events. RLymYC always welcomes new members including experienced sailors and those new to the water. For more information, visit www.rlymyc.org.uk.
