Good morning!
Unfortunately due to the forecast easterly winds which produce a big swell, we've made the decision not to open today.

We know it's exciting to see a dolphin in it's natural habitat and we're so lucky to have a frequent visitor. But any kayaks/paddleboards going out of our boundaries during a hire will have their session ended immediately with no refunds. Boundaries are very clearly explained to each hire.
If the dolphin comes into our hire area please do not crowd around or chase them. He's happy to put on a show when given some space.

Update on bookings.....
We've been really busy the last couple of weeks and the weather is looking fantastic this week! We've opened up bookings, currently until Sunday. If you would like to make an advanced booking to guarantee a space, please phone the Tackle Box on 01297 443373 between 9am and 6pm.

The forecast for the next few days is looking great! If you'd like to book a slot for a paddle in beautiful Lyme Regis, message us the day before and we'll get you booked in. For booking on the day make your way to the team on the beach and they'll reserve your kayaks/paddle boards.
You might be lucky enough to spot Bubbles the dolphin 🐬 who sometimes comes into our area for a visit.

After the last few days of windy weather, tomorrow (Wednesday) is looking fantastic! So we will be up and running all day for kayaks and paddleboards.
Pop on down to the shed on the beach tomorrow from 10am to book your slot.

🌞 Evening Adventures at Lyme Kayak Hire! 🌊
The weather is amazing today, so we’re staying open until 7pm for extra time on the water!

🚣‍♂️ Kayaks – £10/hr
🏄‍♀️ Paddleboards – £15/hr
🛶 Double Kayaks – £15/hr
No deposit needed – just turn up and paddle!

The sea is crystal clear – you can glide over the reefs and see the bottom like glass. In the past few weeks, we’ve had dolphins, seals, and even a leatherback turtle spotted in the bay.

We’re Lyme Kayak Hire, and you can find us in the hut on the beach, right in front of the arcade. Come and explore the bay – who knows what you’ll spot?

Wednesday is looking amazing for sunshine, and with little to no wind the kayaks and paddleboards will be running from 10am until 7.30pm, giving those of you who are working a chance to get down for an evening paddle.
