So following the sad news of the closure of Jurassic Footgolf our time as a team will come to an end. 2 great seasons were enjoyed and winning the title last year in our second season was a fantastic achievement. We will have the opportunity to play in one last competition in September, but for now I’d like to thank Gaz at Jurassic for making us welcome. A big thank you to all the players who made the team what it was.

Finally a good luck to all the lads who will continue their FootGolf journey for other teams in the new season and love to the Southwest lads who we enjoyed sharing rounds with 🦖❤️

Last Sunday can only be described as a bad day in the office!! With the Southwest League title already won Jurassic seemingly went through the motions!! Although take nothing away from what has been a fantastic season. Squad numbers healthy and some great results along the way, Sundays Club Cup just didn’t go to plan!!

However, before the season ends, Jurassic have one more fixture, probably the biggest of the season!!

A long trip for the squad as they head up north to play in their first National Club Championship Finals at Sysonby Acres. 14 teams across the country will be looking to be crowned champions of England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

The last game of the domestic season takes place this Sunday. Jurassic travel to FootGolf Devon and will be officially crowned Southwest champions after clinching the title with one game to go.

Sunday will see all 3 Southwest teams compete for the 2nd Club Cup, Jurassic Won the first, so they will be looking to complete a unique double.

Without kicking a ball on Sunday we were crowned Southwest FootGolf Champions. A massive achievement having finished our first season in 3rd.

The club have taken great strides forward, continuing to grow the squad, but further additions will be very much welcomed. It’s never too late to get involved.

Next up for Jurassic, The final fixture, The Club Cup on the 3rd August at FootGolf Devon. A chance to Win both Club Cups, having already won The League Title 🏆🏆

Finally the season ends with a trip to Sysonby Acres to take on the best in the Country at The National Finals on the 10th August!! Could Jurassic FootGolf Club be crowned Champions of England too? 🦖🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏆

Sunday saw a win for Jurassic with a 19-10 victory over FootGolf Devon. Jurassic lead 11-5 going into the pairs, picking up plenty of points in the various categories.

FootGolf Devon won Pairs Match 2 picking up 5 points, Jurassic won Pairs Match 1 for 8 points with Chris Lewis and debutant Sam Beaton in impressive form to seal a Team victory 🦖

The win sees Jurassic top of the table with just the 1 match to play. Can The dinosaurs take the title and be crowned “Southwest Champions”?

The Southwest Home jinx continued as yet another match saw a victory for the travelling team. Ashbury FGC had to win to keep their title hopes alive. Dan James bossed the day for Ashbury, however it was Jurassic who took the lead going into the pairs 11-7, picking up points in the sub categories.

The pairs proved pivotal as Ashbury Won both pairs matches and the 13 points on offer, claiming the win 11-20.

Jurassic still have things in their own hands with 2 games to play and after fielding 14 players, there are plenty of positives to draw on from Sundays defeat.

Well done to all the Newcomers and a special shout to young Harry Davis who had a very impressive debut 👏🏻

First home game of the season, and it’s a potential title decider already!!

After 3 wins on the road a Fourth win would seal the league title. However, Ashbury will not be underestimated and there could still be a long way to go before any title celebrations!!

Jurassic will have 3 new signings making debuts on Sunday, and maybe a couple more potential late additions too!!
