Our pre-season friendlies have been announced (with one TBC).

The decision was made to only have home games before the season starts to raise some much needed funds for the club. The pick of the bunch is the fundraiser against Lydney Cricket Club, that boasts a few of our current and past players. No doubt that will be a corker! 🏏 Expect BBQ and beers after the game and hopefully no ball tampering.

WEEKEND ROUNDUP

The 1s won a nail-biter all thanks to Jordan Stone who scored 76* to help them recover from 20/4 to post 166/7. He also finished with figures of 5-31 to bowl Rockhampton out for 165 in the final over of the match. Contributions from Paul Morris (1-16), Jack Knox (1-36) and Ben Ferguson (2-29).

The 2s lost to a strong Huntley 1s side who chased down 165 without losing a wicket. Runs from James Legge (51) and Jack Batcock (54).

Despite a quickfire century from Suresh Kumar (119), the 3s lost by 1 wicket to Huntley 2s. Sohail Abbas with another 5-wicket haul (5-40) and George Kear finishing with 2-26.

We have a full weekend of senior fixtures at the club this week.

On Saturday our 2nds host Huntley in Division 6A.

On Sunday we have a County Trophy Round 2 match against Bradley Stoke & Almondsbury 2nds.

Both are a 1pm start and the bar will of course be open throughout!
