Eye catching 12yo 16.2 Welsh part- bred palomino and white splash mare

Super sweet genuine mare who will make someone a lovely allrounder. Glitter has previously been used as a broodmare and bred quality foals.
Hacks alone or in company, snaffle mouthed, good with all traffic, will jump anything you point her at. She has been on beach rides, funrides, jumping clinics, arena hires and always wants to please.
Up to date with vaccines, teeth and farrier.
Can be turned out alone or in a herd.

Another fantastic pole clinic hosted by Dean Forest Riding Club with Dan O’Sullivan Training

Very busy day with 4 hours of lessons but all behaved impeccably and improved throughout their sessions.

No videos of the first two but great lessons on Ollie Echo and a clients 4yo.

Followed by Darrara Viper (bay) and glitter (stunning palomino) who will be advertised soon and no doubt won’t be around for very long, a nice smart stamp of a horse.

Educational weekend for all the horses

A lovely run for OLLIE ECHO at Oxtalls in the BE80. First BE back for him in a few years. A slightly too laid back dressage dropping marks, followed by an unlucky pole showjumping to then fly round the cross country with a slightly inconvenient watch malfunction resulting in a couple of time penalties.

Then a relaxed trip to Dean Forest Riding Club today with the youngsters for a few showjumping rounds on grass.

DARARRA VIPER did a few lovely rounds coming away with a win in the 80cm.

BELLAS EGGTRAVAGANZA also did a couple of lovely rounds and a showing class which she took in her stride and is starting to improve with every outing.

Then home for an evening of chill and time for foal cuddles with Rocky.

Very positive day at wales and west yesterday

Two fantastic double clears for OLLIE ECHO. A second in the 75cm open and 10th in the 85cm amateur qualifier proving ready to step up at his next outing following his surgery last year.

Also two green but willing rounds for 6yo DARARRA VIPER, A pole in both the 75cm open and 85cm amateur but such willing rounds and improving each outing so excited with what’s to come with him.

At Holmes Equestrian I am excited to now be able to offer schooling, competition, backing and breaking livery for horses and ponies of all sizes and ages including support for more challenging or problem horses.
We specialise in the sympathetic and correct production of young horses, providing backing and breaking services for horses aged 4 years and over. Our aim is to develop confident, willing horses through a patient, welfare-focused approach that lays the foundations for long-term success.

Fantastic few days with various outings, including a fun ride, dressage competition, and showjumping.

Darrara Viper

A very busy week for this 6 year old, who took everything in his stride. We had a lovely day at the Cotswold Park fun ride on Saturday, followed by a dressage competition on Sunday where he placed 3rd. We then rounded things off with a fantastic day of showjumping, producing two lovely, willing rounds. I’m really excited to get him out more over the coming weeks.

Ollie Echo

Kicked off the weekend with a fantastic win at the Dean Forest riding club dressage show, which really highlights how much this horse has improved over the last six months. Today we took him showjumping, where he delivered two great double clears to place 2nd in both classes.

What an eventful Sunday to say the least
Alarm set for 3am to go eventing

A fantastic day at Hazelton for Ollie Echo in the 80cm for his first event of the season and first event post kissing spine surgery last year.
Top 10 placing with a lovely double clear although an annoying 4 faults xc for going too fast
