It’s been a tough year for Forest Fighting Fit! There have been lots of challenges but we have finished stronger than ever.
Thank you so much to all the companies that have seen the good we do and have supported us financially to allow us to get to a point where we can apply for charity status !! ( check out our website to see the people who have supported us ). The advice from Nick Broady and Julie Kent MBE have been pivotal and invaluable! We are all very grateful to them giving up their time when they are doing so much for so many. You are inspirational!
We have an awesome group of volunteers now each with their own skill set who are working together to make Forest Fighting Fit work. Particularly grateful to Mike who I’m pretty sure is working full time at all the grant bids etc!
Thanks to everyone’s efforts we are able to increase our warm space time, carry on with soup nights, support young people, offer life experiences and prioritise mental health and that’s without even mentioning our fabulous classes:
We have classes for ages 4 onwards !
Boxing
Kickboxing
Tai chi
Dance and movement for adults with disabilities
And we have have the legend that is Grand Master Sken running Muay Thai classes.
Happy New Year to all our members. Let’s see what we can achieve in 2024.
