Lydd had a convincing win over Beckley CC on Sunday 26th July chasing down 199 to win inside 30 overs..

Lydd lost the toss and were put in the field. Wickets were shared with the pick of the bowlers Alec Lindsey and Freddie Monk both bowling identical spells of. 7-1-21-1

The run chase got off to a flyer reaching 48-0 before Chris Wood was bowled. This brought Dan Anderson to the crease and he and Adam combined good running, and shot selection to both accumulate half centuries. Dan increased the rate and went on to finished 88* whilst Adam was bowled for 84. It was left to Dan and Sean to seal victory before a well earned 🍻 in the pub!
