As it was FAB last weekend, and due to other commitments, this weekend is a break weekend.

Realistically all this means is the "Pink Squishy Thing" doesn't get to ride the bike this weekend, everyone else is still busy prepping and doing other bike related things... Stuff doesn't just stop :D

Which leads us on nicely to:

Being new to all this, we were VERY Jealous last weekend at FAB of the number boards and how people were getting messages and info to their "Pink Squishy Thing" from the pit lane. We used a notepad on the weekend, but wanted something better!

They were pretty expensive online though, so queue an hour of our time, some sticky backed numbers and a bit of PVC board from Ebay and we have a branded, PINK, Number board! We currently have numbers 0-9 twice, a White chunky chalk pen for freehand writing and are making :
An "Arrow", "Plus" and "Minus" and "PIT" stickers.

Can anyone think of anything else we may need?

Race Report Round 2 Clay Pideon

This weekend was all about learning and gaining experience as I raced at a circuit I'd never ridden before - like most of them!! Every session was a chance to learn the track, improve my lines and build confidence on the bike.

As the weekend went on, I felt more comfortable and started to find more speed. The highlight for me was setting a new personal best lap time of 52.99 seconds. Since it was my first time at this circuit, every improvement was effectively a circuit PB, so it was great to see the hard work paying off each time I went out on track.

I started on the grid at 15th, after my two qualifying rounds on day 2.

In Race 2, I finished 12th in a very competitive field. Although there were plenty of challenges, I kept pushing, focused on riding consistently and continued learning from the riders around me.

For Race 3, I was determined to keep improving and managed to finish 11th, moving up a position and closing the gap to some of the riders ahead. I felt much more confident on the bike by this stage and was pleased with the progress I made throughout the day.

While the results are important, I'm most pleased with how much I improved from the first session to the final race. Racing at a new circuit is always a challenge, but coming away with a 52.99 PB and gaining valuable experience gives me plenty of confidence heading into the next round.

I'm getting closer to that top 10 finish, and after ending the weekend in 11th place, I know I'm heading in the right direction. The gap is getting smaller, my confidence is growing, and I'll be working hard to take that next step and break into the top 10 at the next round.

A huge thank you to my family, sponsors and everyone who supports Immy V Racing. Your support means everything and helps me keep chasing my goals.

See you at the next round! 🏁

🏁 Race Day 2 at Clay Pigeon! 🏁

After a positive first day on the minimoto, we're back and ready for more! πŸ’ͺ

The weather was hot and sunny all day, with a dry, warm track that made for some great racing conditions. I put together some solid qualifying laps and secured 15th on the grid. In Race 1, I managed to work my way forward and finish 13th, which was a good start to the weekend. πŸ‘Š

Today it's time for practice, Race 2, and Race 3. The goal is to get a stronger launch off the grid, make up some places early on, and keep pushing towards the top 10. πŸš€

Thanks to everyone supporting me throughout the weekend, and a visit from Uncle Barry Scrivens β€” your encouragement means a lot! ❀️

🀞 Fingers crossed for some good starts, clean racing, and more progress today.

Laptimes getting better and still having fun!!!

The boys rocked it in the 12mm and some brilliant racing from Kasey and Jensen.

Were collecting stickers for the board!! If you see us and have a team sticker please stop and donate, trying to build a memory board of those we did our first season with.
If not a sharpie and signature will do!!

We're very jealos of Keeleys new bike, if anyone knows of a jsm 90 in usable condition please drop us a line!!

Last week the weather looked terrible, the usual borders rain/drizzle predicted.

BUT OHH EMM GEE, it was lovely today.

There was one murky cloud in the day, a Friend had an off, and got taken to hospital with a broken finger, wishing her the very best and rapid of recoveries. We had been looking forward to chasing her all week :(

The boys had tuition from Jordan Malton, and we're seriously considering this now. We were discussing on the 2h drive home about if we think Immy will benefit and are in agreement she would!!

The bike had a few niggles, but it seems it almost always does, new harder clutch springs, made absolutely bu**er all difference to the feel of the bike apparently. BUT moving the bars and pegs to give a little more space on the bike seems to have worked wonders. ALSO NEW SHOES!!!! All girls need pretty shoes! The Shoes apparently, made the most difference, along with the new blacked out visor!

The sessions were on a reverse track, which while we don't like it as much... Its SO much better at forcing me to get better on a left, with more LEFTS :D, got my times down to almost the same as the "Normal" way, at just over 59 seconds today. Although the fastest times where when I was chasing Savanah!

Moving around on the bike a bit more, getting my knee down on lefts now. BUT, Having FUN, which is always the biggest target.

Added to the board is:
Clean Carb
Clean Bike
Get new Rear Axle
Fit New Rear Axle
Buy new Brake Pads
Fit New Brake Pads

It did look good once we put the fairings on! Especially now it's back in 1 piece after my off at Stretton. Which is AGAIN next week!
