🏁 Another fantastic day of racing for Immy V Racing! 🏁

The day started with qualifying, where Immy secured 11th on the grid. While it wasn't quite where we hoped to be, it gave her the motivation to dig deep and fight her way forward throughout the races.

A special mention has to go to our brand-new pit board, which made its debut today! It was brilliant seeing encouraging messages coming in throughout the races, alongside live position updates. The support and motivation from the trackside team gave Immy an extra boost every time she came down the straight. Having friends Claudia Duncan and Keeley Bailey cheering her on, keeping the energy high, and celebrating every position gained made the day even more special.

Race 1 saw Immy battle hard and make up positions to finish 9th, setting the tone for the rest of the day.

In Race 2, she showed exactly what she's capable of, putting together some great laps and strong overtakes to cross the line in 7th place.

The momentum continued into Race 3, where another determined performance saw her bring home an impressive 6th-place finish.

One of the highlights of the day was watching Immy and Izzy Cook go wheel-to-wheel throughout the races. The pair traded positions several times and pushed each other hard, producing some fantastic racing and proving just how competitive the grid is becoming. It's rivalries like these that make racers faster, but it's the friendships built off the track that make the paddock such a special place. Competing hard on track while supporting each other away from it is what grassroots racing is all about.

From 11th in qualifying to 9th, 7th, and 6th across the races, it was a day full of progress, determination, and confidence-building performances. These are the days that remind us why we love this sport.

As if that wasn't enough excitement for one day, Immy's mum managed to surprise her by collecting an IMR GP12 while the racing was taking place. After the final chequered flag, Immy got her very first experience on a geared bike.

The smile said it all.

It took a few laps to get used to the gears, but before long she was absolutely loving it. The future is looking very exciting, and we're incredibly proud of how quickly she's adapting to every new challenge that comes her way.

A huge thank you to everyone who continues to support Immy's journey. Onwards and upwards! πŸοΈπŸ’¨

And a quick shoutout to Quickprint Ltd β€” we have a feeling we might be needing some fresh decals for the new bike very soon! 😁🏍️✨

And happy birthday to Austin Racing #100 !! Sorry we couldn't make it Saturday night.x

Sorry I've been a little quiet on socials lately – I've been a busy little bee! 🐝

Last weekend I was following my other passion and had the incredible opportunity to perform on stage at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London's West End. What an amazing experience! 🎭✨

This weekend has been all about catching up with the mechanics' family (aka Daddy's family!) and enjoying some quality time together. ❀️

But today it's back to business and back to racing as we head into Round 4 of the Stretton Mini Series! 🏁🏎️

Can't wait to get back out on track and see what the day brings. Wish us luck! πŸ’ͺπŸ”₯

As it was FAB last weekend, and due to other commitments, this weekend is a break weekend.

Realistically all this means is the "Pink Squishy Thing" doesn't get to ride the bike this weekend, everyone else is still busy prepping and doing other bike related things... Stuff doesn't just stop :D

Which leads us on nicely to:

Being new to all this, we were VERY Jealous last weekend at FAB of the number boards and how people were getting messages and info to their "Pink Squishy Thing" from the pit lane. We used a notepad on the weekend, but wanted something better!

They were pretty expensive online though, so queue an hour of our time, some sticky backed numbers and a bit of PVC board from Ebay and we have a branded, PINK, Number board! We currently have numbers 0-9 twice, a White chunky chalk pen for freehand writing and are making :
An "Arrow", "Plus" and "Minus" and "PIT" stickers.

Can anyone think of anything else we may need?

Race Report Round 2 Clay Pideon

This weekend was all about learning and gaining experience as I raced at a circuit I'd never ridden before - like most of them!! Every session was a chance to learn the track, improve my lines and build confidence on the bike.

As the weekend went on, I felt more comfortable and started to find more speed. The highlight for me was setting a new personal best lap time of 52.99 seconds. Since it was my first time at this circuit, every improvement was effectively a circuit PB, so it was great to see the hard work paying off each time I went out on track.

I started on the grid at 15th, after my two qualifying rounds on day 2.

In Race 2, I finished 12th in a very competitive field. Although there were plenty of challenges, I kept pushing, focused on riding consistently and continued learning from the riders around me.

For Race 3, I was determined to keep improving and managed to finish 11th, moving up a position and closing the gap to some of the riders ahead. I felt much more confident on the bike by this stage and was pleased with the progress I made throughout the day.

While the results are important, I'm most pleased with how much I improved from the first session to the final race. Racing at a new circuit is always a challenge, but coming away with a 52.99 PB and gaining valuable experience gives me plenty of confidence heading into the next round.

I'm getting closer to that top 10 finish, and after ending the weekend in 11th place, I know I'm heading in the right direction. The gap is getting smaller, my confidence is growing, and I'll be working hard to take that next step and break into the top 10 at the next round.

A huge thank you to my family, sponsors and everyone who supports Immy V Racing. Your support means everything and helps me keep chasing my goals.

See you at the next round! 🏁

🏁 Race Day 2 at Clay Pigeon! 🏁

After a positive first day on the minimoto, we're back and ready for more! πŸ’ͺ

The weather was hot and sunny all day, with a dry, warm track that made for some great racing conditions. I put together some solid qualifying laps and secured 15th on the grid. In Race 1, I managed to work my way forward and finish 13th, which was a good start to the weekend. πŸ‘Š

Today it's time for practice, Race 2, and Race 3. The goal is to get a stronger launch off the grid, make up some places early on, and keep pushing towards the top 10. πŸš€

Thanks to everyone supporting me throughout the weekend, and a visit from Uncle Barry Scrivens β€” your encouragement means a lot! ❀️

🀞 Fingers crossed for some good starts, clean racing, and more progress today.
