We might be a running club, but we do love a good non‑running social — and yes, they usually end up in the pub… this one was no exception. Over 20 Harriers turned up and gave it our best shot before heading off for the traditional post‑event pint.

Wycliffe Bowls Club were absolute stars — patient, welcoming, and only mildly traumatised by our “creative” bowling styles. Some Harriers were naturals… others reminded us why running is our main hobby.

If you fancy giving bowls a go, check out Wycliffe Bowls Club’s socials for their open days. They’re genuinely the friendliest bunch and you’ll have a cracking time — even if your bowls take the scenic route.

Today was ‘Graduation’ for some of our current Couch to 5K group at Daventry parkrun. Amazing morning, tough conditions but everyone ran amazingly! Huge well done to the group 👏🏻 🏃‍♂️

The next C25K group starts in January, message us for details for a New Year fitness challenge. We’re a friendly group with brilliant coaches. We have groups at all ability levels, contact us to come along for a trial ‘run’ 👍🏻
