✨ MEET SARAH ✨

Introducing the other half of our dynamic admin duo… our fabulous Sarah! 🖤

Sarah is our resident analytical queen, the person keeping Miss Louise in check with the numbers, statistics and facts behind LMSD and helping us turn all those big ideas into actual plans.

She’s also a brilliant ideas maker, always ready to bring a fresh perspective, find a solution or work out a better way of doing something.

Alongside the day-to-day LMSD admin, Sarah is the mastermind behind our Competition Team admin, helping to manage entries, spreadsheets and all the organisation that goes into getting our dancers competition ready behind the scenes.

One of the things we love most about Sarah? Throw a task her way and she’ll get stuck straight in! Whether it’s numbers, planning, organising, problem solving or something completely new, she’s always ready for the challenge.

Together with Cassie, she helps keep the wheels of LMSD turning, and we genuinely don’t know what we’d do without them!

✨ MEET CASSIE ✨

It’s not just our teachers who keep LMSD running… next up, meet one of the fabulous people working behind the scenes. Here’s Cassie, one of our Admin Managers! 🖤

You’ll currently find Cassie at LMSD on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays, helping to keep everything organised and making sure the wheels keep turning behind the scenes.

If there’s a spreadsheet involved, Cassie is your girl. 👑💻 She is officially our Queen of Excel and somehow manages to make sense of all the lists, numbers and information that come with running a very busy dance school!

But she’s not just about spreadsheets, Cassie also has a wonderfully creative side and loves getting involved with new ideas, projects and all the little details that make LMSD, LMSD.

Organised, creative and always ready to tackle whatever Louise throws at her, Cassie is a huge part of our admin team and we’re incredibly lucky to have her. 🖤

✨ MEET MISS MILLIE ✨

Next up in our LMSD team introductions is the lovely Miss Millie! 🖤

Millie has grown up as a dancer at LMSD, and it’s been so special watching her journey begin to come full circle as she takes her first steps from student to teacher and choreographer

Miss Millie currently teaches Ballet, Tap and Limbering, alongside working 1:2:1 with dancers in private lessons. She has a particular passion for Ballet technique and loves helping dancers understand the detail, strength and precision that creates beautiful, technically secure movement. 🩰

She has also begun the exciting journey towards completing her BBOdance teaching qualifications, continuing to develop her knowledge and grow as the next generation of the LMSD teaching faculty.

And Sweet 16 is going to be an extra special milestone for Millie… It will be her final LMSD show as a dancer, but her FIRST as a choreographer! From performing on the LMSD stage herself to now creating work for the next generation of our dancers, it really does feel like the start of a very exciting new chapter.

We’re incredibly proud of you, Miss Millie, and can’t wait to see where this journey takes you!

🖤 MEET OUR LMSD TEACHING ASSISTANTS 🖤

A huge appreciation post for Bea, Cara, Emma, Ella, Isabella, Isla, Minnie & Sofia our wonderful LMSD Teaching Assistants!

These brilliant young people volunteer their time each week to support our teachers and help inspire the next generation of LMSD dancers.

But being a Teaching Assistant is about so much more than helping little dancers with their shoes! They’re learning about lesson planning, class structure, behaviour management, supporting individual students, demonstrating exercises, giving encouragement and understanding what goes into delivering a great dance class.

They are developing confidence, responsibility, leadership and communication skills, all while becoming fantastic role models for our younger students.

We’re incredibly grateful for the time and energy they give to LMSD, and we LOVE watching them develop into the teachers and leaders of the future. The next generation, helping to inspire the generation after then.
