NKB School of Dance are a young dynamic team of dance teachers bringing a new edge to the traditional style of Disco Freestyle and Rock’n'Roll. All professional teachers with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD), judges for the Association of Dance & Freestyle Professionals (ADFP) and official Crew Members with Urban Funk, fully insured and CRB checked. The choreography and inspiration

of Nicola and Karen Bartlett, the proprietors of NKB School of Dance, has produced over 15 years of professional childrens dance shows and devised innovative dance troupes. A new teacher to the NKB team is Adam Scott; Adam is an ISTD teacher of modern, tap, contemporary & jazz, and enjoys nurturing children in various dance disciplines! With over 20 years of experience in the dance arena and some 15 years competing in championship competitions, these teachers offer fun and unique classes for all age groups.

It is with much sadness, coupled with immense pride, we announce the closure of our dance school after 22 years of teaching

What started off as a hobby for us in a small community hall, soon grew into our wonderful business NKB School of Dance

Without the continuous love and support of our pupils and their families over the years, we would have never achieved our dream and made such wonderful memories. Seeing so many grow in confidence, laugh, have fun, make lifelong friends, find themselves and fulfil their dreams, has been an absolute blessing

Families past and present will always hold a special place in our hearts, so all we can say is a huge thank you so much ❤️

Continue to shine and always remember, don’t let anyone dull your sparkle

🌱⭐️ WE’RE ON THE SEARCH FOR LOCAL YOUNG TALENT! ⭐️🌱

The Grove, in partnership with Evolution Productions are looking for girls to be part of the Juvenile Ensemble for their spectacular pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk! Registration will take place SUNDAY 30 JULY at 2pm, the Grove Theatre.

To audition you must be between ages 9-15 (inclusive) on 1 September 2023 and be under 5’ 2”. Auditions will end approximately 2 hours after the start time but you may need to stay longer if you are successful. You don’t need to prepare anything – you’ll be taught a routine on the day. Come wearing comfortable clothes and soft/dance shoes. We advise that you bring some water.

Pantomime is a team effort, and we will require full commitment for the rehearsal period and the full run of the production: SAT 25 NOV – SUN 31 DEC 2023.
