Session 5 saw PBs in all 3 of the 200m events.
Joel Green started off with the 200m fly, finishing 4th. Freya Beresford matched her 200m backstroke PB in finishing 6th. Issy O’Leary finished 14th and Chloe Hodgkinson finished 8th in their age groups.

The boys’ 200 IM produced PBs for all 3 swimmers. Daniel Belsey took gold with a 3.5 second PB in 10yrs, Nathan Whiting an 8 second PB in 13 yrs age group & Sam Ward also got a PB finishing in 6th

Continuing the session, Lacey Snailham-Crimmin came 14th in the girls’ 11 yrs 100m backstroke.

In the 100m fly, Chloe Hodgkinson finished 9th in the 11 years age group with Freya Beresford 12th & Millie Herbert 15th in the 14 yrs age group.

James Gibson swam to a fantastic silver medal in the boys’ 50m breaststroke 10yrs age group with Arthur Coldwell in 16th (11 yrs) and Henry White 15th (12 yrs).

Henry Newbury-Kemp continued his medal tally with a 3rd (13 yrs) with Nathan Whiting in 8th.

Matthias Morse also kept up his medals streak with a bronze in the open age group.

The session ended with the girls’ 50m backstroke.
Lily Welbourne finished in 5th for 9yrs age group, Rachel Belsey swam a PB in finishing 8th in the 10 yrs. Issy O’Leary finished 15th in a hard 12 yrs age group. In the 13 yrs, Maddison Wiles swam to 7th with Mabel Coldwell close in 9th.

Freya Beresford finished 5th and Millie Herbert 6th in the 14 age group with Charlotte Hingston swimming to 9th in the open.

In the boys’ 400m free, James Gibson and Daniel Belsey both increased the medal count by coming 2nd and 3rd, both with PBs. Henry Newbury-Kemp followed with a bronze in the 13 yrs with a strong PB and Nathan Whiting also swam to a PB coming 8th. Matthias Morse also swam a great time in coming 2nd in the open age group with Lewis Clark finishing in 11th.

Next up was the girls’ 100m backstroke. Rachel Belsey fought hard to 8th in the 10 yrs while Isabella O’Leary finished 18th in a tough 12 yrs age group. Mabel Coldwell and Maddison Wiles came 8th and 10th in the 13 yrs age group, Freya Beresford swam to 7th in the 14yrs. Girls’ captain Charlotte Hingstob was 12th in the open age group

The racing has continued on Sunday morning with James Gibson winning his first medal of the day by coming 3rd in the 10yrs 100m breaststroke. Arthur Coldwell came 14th in the 11yrs and cousin Henry White was 13th in the 13 yrs age group. Nathan Whiting was 13th in his age group and club captain Kyle Holmes swam to 4th in the open age group.
