🎄LADIES BRANCH CHRISTMAS DINNER🎄

🎄On Tuesday, the ladies branch had their annual Christmas dinner
🥳We had a lovely meal provided by Colleen and Mickey in the restaurant and we were kept well replenished with drinks from the bar staff.
🎁 There we’re some excellent scores throughout the winter league and well done to all of the prizewinners!
🎶 After dinner we had a fantastic performance from our very own Lurgan Golf Club choir, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all of the members!
🤩The finishing note of the evening was from our incoming Lady Captain Gina, who announced that her new Lady Vice Captain for 2023 will be Lynne Hanna. Congratulations Lynne! 👏

🥂 Entry is £5 and includes a drink on arrival with all proceeds donated to the Lady Captain's Charity Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis.

👏 Congratulations to Beth Cuthbert, who has been chosen as part of Golf Ireland’s U14 Area Development Panel 2023!! 👏

Beth’s enthusiasm and love for the game shines through, and we know how hard she works at getting better.

Speaking on the announcement of the upcoming panel, Golf Ireland said: "We look forward to helping these young players on their golfing journeys and witnessing their progress over the years to come"

Over 300 players have been selected in six regions for Golf Ireland's 2023 Area Development Panels

🏆 LADIES SILVERWARE PRESENTATION 🏆

🏆 On Tuesday night, the ladies branch held the annual silverware presentation evening.
⛳️ All trophies were presented to the winners throughout the 2022 season and there were some fantastic scores to clinch the top spots!
👏 The prize for the Demesne Salver this year went to Ciara Haughey who has seen a run of fantastic scores throughout the year!
🏆 Well done to all of the prizewinners on the night!

👏 Honorary Life Membership for Niamh Mcsherry 👏
Last night the ladies held the end of year Silverware Presentation Night but beforehand Niamh Mcsherry, along with her family were welcomed to join in a special celebration.
Niamh has been awarded honorary life membership at Lurgan Golf Club.
We heard stories about Niamh’s fantastic golfing achievements, starting back from the very young age of 8 right up until today where she now embarks on her PGA course, taking up the role of assistant pro down in the pro shop.
Niamh made a fantastic speech whilst accepting her honorary membership which didn’t leave a dry eye in the house.
This is truly well deserved by Niamh and we couldn’t be more proud of all that you have achieved!
