Staying ahead of the game with some early gravel banding on our walkways! We identified this as a problem area after last winter’s heavy rain, so we’ve already added 10 tons of sand this summer, with deep verti-draining to follow to help open up those compacted areas from foot traffic and machinery.

Another year, another scratch cup at LGC! Big shout out to the lads for the fantastic effort put in this morning, especially those on their weekend off. It's much appreciated by me 🤝🤝. Hopefully, that's the last of the 4 AM alarms for a while now 😂. Tacit Golf

A Light sorrel roll to open the surface before adding some soil biology. Keeping it simple, healthy soil is where it's at! 🌱🌿

It's awesome to have Daniel back after his A levels! He started as summer help and now he's a full-time staff member at LGC, way to go! 👏

He's off to Greenmount in November to start his Level 3 in greenkeeping, it's fantastic to see young people coming though into Greenkeeping 🤙

Another busy Thursday on the course today! ⛳️ Greens got some micro grooming to refine the leaf on the surfaces. Few more small jobs knocked off the list, like w**d spraying around the trees. 🌳

So good to see the course back in action after that rough winter 🌧. We're still a bit behind on some smaller tasks, but hopefully, we can knock those out in the next few weeks 💪.
