EVENT CANCELLED - It is with a very very heavy heart that we have had to make the hard decision to cancel this years event.
Since returning to the event after the pandemic, entry numbers have been half what they previously were. Last year numbers were lower than that and this year with only 4 weeks to go entries are so low we are set to make a huge financial loss if we proceeded. The Triathlon is run by Teme Leisureand 2 local clubs. The 2 clubs are run by volunteers and cannot contribute to costs and Teme Leisure as you can appreciate have huge running costs due to cost of living and utility bills that they also cannot fund the event.
I appreciate this may upset some of you and please know it has not been an easy decision, we are really sorry.
Those of you who had entered - thank you. Please don’t let your training go to waste and locate another event to support.
Of course we will issue you a full refund and this will come via entry central and to the card you used to pay. Please do bear with me, this will take a bit of processing but I aim to have this done by 10th September. If you have not receive it by this date please come back to me - All those entered have been sent an email.
