Anyone for Croquet?
If you live in Ludlow or the surrounding area, why
not try out a new and intriguing game? Magnificently
sited below the Castle on lawns adjacent to Ludlow
Castle Tennis and Bowling Club, the Croquet Club
was established a few years ago and has since gone
from strength to strength.
Croquet is easy to get started with – and great fun! It’s
a game which takes just a few minutes to learn, but
can provide years of fun for individuals, couples and
families. It can be played just for fun or competitively,
and by players of all ages and abilities. The club has
two full size lawns and has all the equipment needed
to get you started. Our friendly members will take you
through the basics and teach you the skills needed
as your game improves. Come and try the game
for free. If you enjoy it, club membership is £70 per
person per year and includes unlimited play during
the season which runs from April to September. For
