🌼 Summer Slow Flow Yoga Term ⏰ Tuesdays 5:15-6:15pm 📆 Starts Tues 2nd June 📍At

Ready to cultivate more vitality in your being through movement, breath and awareness? Our long standing Tues night mat based class has dropped the ‘gentle’ title to reflect a slight change in pace as we move into spring and summer.

This term we’ll be continuing our exploration of the natural world and how the outer landscape is reflected within the inner…like embodying the elegance and wisdom of twisting willow and the heart healing properties of hawthorn, for example.

This is an open level class best suited to those comfy in seated/kneeling and standing postures. We’ll be linking movement and breath to cultivate a flow state, build strength and flexibility and connect with all parts of yourself ~ come join us.

Looking for a peaceful end to half term/the end of the month? Join us Friday evening for chance to unplug and drop in to more cosmic realms with our monthly sound bath.

Lay back and allow the vibrations of the sound bowls to wash over you, letting your cells dance with delight. I love to play the metal bowls on you so you can experience this more viscerally, and the crystal bowls add another more celestial layer to the soundscape.

We’re very grateful to share that Marches Movement CIC has just been awarded a grant by to subsidise our next two terms of chair yoga 🥳

We shared a short presentation on our work with the group earlier this week, and loved hearing about all the other groups receiving funding including several gardening initiatives. We’re passionate about people connecting with the natural world but primarily the ecosystem of their own body, which is a reflection/part of that.

The funding means we can continue to offer chair yoga on a drop in, optional pay by suggested donation model, keeping it accessible and removing any financial barriers.

Rich because I get to investigate the mirroring of nature’s beauty and patterns/spirit in the human body and then share and transmit that through movement, breath and being with lovely people in different ways and flavours throughout the week?! 🤓🤯 so luckyyy 🥹

Those of you I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with this week will recognise our wildflower friend here ~ cow parsley. I picked some recently mistaking it for meadowsweet (which isn’t out until June) and then have been in discovery with it since.

The umbels of flowers and rays of flower stalks are reminiscent of the bronchial tree and alveoli, which was our starting point, but also the structure of the bones in the hands and the feet, which gave me no end of inspo for cueing structurally.

Nature’s magic never ceases to amaze me and I’m so stoked to be deepening my knowledge of both inner and outer landscapes and how they’re interwoven and sharing that with you.

What a joy to spend a peaceful Wednesday afternoon with this lovely bunch 🥰 The first of our monthly sound baths at for was a great success.

These sessions are designed to create space for folks living with and beyond cancer to unplug, unwind and support their nervous systems.

Having seen first hand how therapeutic sound healing can be for people during treatment or on their recovery journey I have been so looking forward to sharing these sessions, and the feedback was wonderful.

Our next sound bath dates for those living with and beyond cancer throughout spring/summer are:

Join us for an evening out that feels more like an evening in. Sit or lay back as the sounds of singing bowls, chimes, drum and other instruments create a sonic soundscape around you where you can rest and unwind.

No experience is necessary, please bring a mat to lie on, and a blanket, cushion and anything you need to feel extra cosy and relaxed (eye pillows are a nice touch 😉). Spaces are limited, tickets are £15.
