Saturday saw the second annual sport alumni event. Welcoming back ex-members of college football teams from yesteryear, the event was well contested and a good opportunity to catch up.

The oldest team finished college in 2005 and was led by ex-student and now head of PE Gavin Price. There was then a bit of a gap to teams of individuals taught by Gavin from 2015 to 2024.

Well done to all those taking part, especially the old guys!

A busy first half term of sport with football, netball, badminton, and netball fixtures up and running. Today we had matches in Ludlow for both rugby and netball. A good afternoon joining with our Hereford campus for a rugby training game. A huge thanks to for use of the facilities.
Netball faced a year 11 side from Ludlow school to aid in easing their transition to college in a friendly game.
20 Ludlow sixth form college students all in action in one afternoon....great to see!

In the fourth annual staff Vs students rounders match, teaching staff at Ludlow finally break their duck to claim victory. As with previous years, the sun was shining and it is always a nice send off for our second year students.

Calling 16-24 year old netballers/ netball coaches! Our head of PE and netball coach is currently undertaking research into the mental health of netballers for a masters dissertation. This is an opportunity to support the development of scientific research in an underrepresented group.

Over the bank holiday weekend, alumni netballers returned to for a friendly netball tournament. Players representing the college over the past 10 years returned to reconnect and enjoy some netball.

Despite this being the first netball since leaving college for some, the standard and speed of play was excellent. Players have gone on to a wide range of careers and university courses, and it was great for staff to catch-up and see where ex-students are now.

Congratulations to the winning team and we look forward to the next event.

Lovely afternoon for some football. Our football team enjoyed their run out at Shrewsbury College for their final away game if the season.

Our Ludlow netball squad visited Ninja Warrior Gloucester before the final away league fixture of the season, surviving with minimal injuries. As always, the PE staff had to get involved and show off! Despite the tiring activity, the team went on to beat New College Swindon 48-41.
