This is so important. Often girth choice and where you attach it to the saddle can be as important as fit, especially when each horses movement characteristics and gait is analysed.

The grass roots Badminton. What a great venue for giving the young horses exposure and experience, and also coping with their riders exhibiting a few more nerves for some reason! 🤣🤣🤣

Nice to see a leather head collar, I always feel more comfortable that if a horse panics they will finally break! Some nylon head collars are strong enough to pull your horsebox off the muddy lorry park.
Room to put over your bridle at a show, a simple but essential requirement for sitting over the noseband assembly.

Well done Poppy, and Pessoa Saddles for doing a great job. Poppy had this saddle from new under her Pessoa support program she currently enjoys. Mum and Dad work hard at the job too and deserve a mention, there is a lot to manage running a show jumping team and a lot of commitment apart from the huge cost of campaigning.

For anyone making a saddle investment, Pessoa saddles, adjustable yes, but for me equally important, the benefit of fully flocked panels provide the saddle fitter with further ability to make finer adjustment especially where asymmetry is present, or saddle balance is nearly there but not quite. Close contact acheived with well fitting saddle panels, not lost in saddle pad solutions, when a thinner one will do .
Rider feel and engagement improved with better feedback through your saddle.
The saddle investment becomes your investment in horse comfort, better performances, and greater competitive success and happiness.
Focus on the bigger picture goals, not the saddle cost and where taking that step can take you.
