Well that’s this your over with for on the whole I can’t be too upset with the way I played to do all the hard work in the first 2 matches in the group stages just just to have bad run in the last match which meant I ended up in the plate due to frame difference.

Played decent pool today and felt good but it wasn’t to be dy breaks and little unfortunate rubs cost me in the quarter finals of the plate

Lots of positives to take from my matches this weekend and things to work on.

Back in Blackpool for the next ultimate tour. Friday night matches are never my favourite due to the drive and then not playing til late in the evening so to start with a 5 3 win I’m more than happy. I played solidly missing a few shots that fresh eyes wouldn’t miss but that’s part of the game. It was also the first time a lot of us have got to play in the new rasson tables which play nicely when you get used to how to break on them.

Not on again until 6 tonight so plenty of time to relax and prepare.

The time has come to get a new handicapped snooker singles league up and running, all matches will be best of 6 frames with a 10up 10down system. 1 match every fortnight to be organised between the players.

£20 entry and each match £10 per player, cash prizes at the end of the league.

Absolutely gutted lost 6 5 after bringing it back to 5 all when I was 5 2 down my break just failed me today so I was on the back foot straight away.

Plenty of positives to take away after having had a long break away from playing competitive pool it’s good to know I’m not far off mixing it with the internationals

Second visit to Blackpool in the space of a week this time to take my place in the ladies world championship singles Fran Calvert I will give it my best and hopefully have a good comp.

Fran Calvert after coming second in the group that put me in the main still 🎱 won the first game 5-1 🎱Then was 3-0 down got it back to 3-3 then just didn’t get the run 🎱 But onto Wednesday when I come back to Blackpool to play in the world championship 🎱

Fran Calvert a good start to the weekend with a 5 3 win last night, I will admit not the prettiest pool but I managed to get the job done and keep myself in a good position for the rest of the group matches. A restful day should help before being back on again at 7.30 then 10.30 tonight
