Socials have been quiet and here’s why….

I am absolutely gutted about having to make the decision and withdraw from the world championships in Liverpool.
I am aware that I wasn’t boxing my best.
And because I am fully aware of my capabilities; I just wasn’t getting there with a ni**le, since I sublaxed my shoulder in 2023. I have discussed with and am adhering with my professional team with advice given going forward.
My doctor has confirmed I have labrum tear 😩

Yesterday I endured an operation to reattach the torn labrum & bicep anchor to my shoulder socket.
The timing is not great, with the Worlds but I’m here for the bigger picture so I can be 💯.

Recovery is key, professional advice is that I am looking at 6-8mths rehabilitation but I will get there, and I cannot wait to get back in the ring and prepare me for my next cycle of LA2028.

What a crazy 4wks I’ve had since being back with the team.I got my 1st 2 major tournaments out of the way before the worlds in September.

First up was Czech Republic World Boxing Challenge tournament where I came away with a 🥈losing to America but beating Canada and the world silver medalist from Italy which was a great comeback and nothing to shy away from.

A week later I was in Kazakhstan at the World Boxing Tournament losing to the overall winner of the tournament - India.

After a long day travelling home yesterday it’s time to reset learn from my loss, tough sparring and training ready to get me on that podium in September at the World Championships.

This Mumma is coming back for it all 🥇

ITS OFFICIAL 🥊 🥇

I’m starting my new cycle towards LA 2028 Olympic games.

As many know Paris 2024 didn’t go my way and after a break I still crave that medal and I won’t rest until I get what’s mine.

I hope to pursue my dream and compete at as many training camps and tournaments i can 🙏 to prepare me for LA 2028. I can’t wait to get back up to my GB Boxing family.

With that in mind I need the help of others to help me succeed with this.

Lastnight we lost a unbelievably strong woman 💔 To say this woman played a very big part in my life would be a understatement 😞 Just like John cremin and Amy have, They're classed as family 🫶 Linda was the most caring thoughtful woman anyone had the pleasure to meet, Thinking of the whole family, Especially john cremin, Amy Matthews, Zak cremin and all there grandchildren 💔 It was a pleasure to see you so peaceful lastnight 😭 May you rest in peace you darling woman 💕
