⚽️ FUTURES RESULTS – WEEK 2 ⚽️
What a difference a week makes!
After Super Saturday last weekend, the competition certainly heated up, with tougher challenges ahead for our Futures sides. 💪🏻
And there were some fantastic performances, plenty of character and lots of lessons to take from the weekend.
🔥 THE COMEBACK KINGS – U15s
Our U15s made the long trip to King’s Lynn and found themselves 3-1 down with just 20 minutes remaining.
What followed was a fantastic show of character and determination as the boys turned the game completely on its head, scoring three times to come away with an incredible 4-3 victory! 👏🏻🔥
A brilliant effort from the players to keep believing right until the final whistle.
🟠 A STRONG START – U10s
Due to FA rules, we’re unable to publish the results for our U10s, but we certainly can give them a big shoutout for their strong start in the Norfolk Combined Leagues.
We know their managers were really pleased with the overall performance, which is what it’s all about at this stage. 👏🏻
🔵 THE BATTLE – U13s
Our U13s faced a tough test away at FFE and found themselves 1-0 down early on.
Rather than letting that setback affect them, the team dug deep and put in a tremendous shift, turning the game around to lead 3-1 at half time.
FFE pushed hard throughout the second half to try and get themselves back into the game, but our boys worked tirelessly as a unit from back to front.
They defended brilliantly, battled for every ball and ultimately saw the game out to secure a 3-1 victory. 💪🏻👏🏻
A weekend of good tests, valuable lessons and plenty of character across our Futures age groups.
That’s what this journey is all about — challenging ourselves, learning, improving and continuing to develop together. ⚽️
