Are you warming up to reach your full potential? This approach ensures a more effective and safer warm-up addressing physiological and physical needs before exercise

Raise- the HR and body temp through jogging and low intensity activities 📈❤️
Activate- specific muscle groups and movement patterns using dynamic stretches or resistance work 💪
Mobilise- joint flexibility and ROM using rotations and specific movements 🦴
Potentiate- to improve performance and power output using exercises such as plyometrics. 💥

Pre or post-event massage? I’m often asked when I do massages ‘can I exercise after or should I exercise before?’ The answer is it depends on what you’re getting the massage for! Is it for tightness or recovery or is it for prep ?
Theses are some of the most common types and what they do:
- Pre-event gets you primed—boosts circulation, warms muscles, and preps you for peak performance.
- Post-event helps you recover faster—reduces soreness, flushes toxins, and speeds up healing.
- And finally there preventative that is used to prevent injury and tightness. Train smart, recover smarter. ”
