FREE Tennis Shoulder Workshop this Saturday, 9 August 2025 10:30am to 12:00pm at Woodthorpe Tennis Club in Nottingham.

Spaces are limited. Sign up via the website.

If shoulder pain is holding you back; maybe limiting your serve, you’re struggling to generate power or feeling like you're losing strength as you hit the second and third set, or experiencing pain in your backhand, then this workshop is for you.

It’s a strength and conditioning session, so no need for rackets - but come prepared to get moving!

During the session, we will:
•⁠ ⁠Explain the why as well as the what you might be experiencing in your shoulders as a result of tennis.
•⁠ ⁠Provide practical ways you can better prepare your shoulders for the demands you want to place upon them.

You will leave the session with exercises you can implement into your training week to reduce pain and improve shoulder function for tennis.

On The Ball Coaching offer their next Rusty Rackets adult tennis course starting on Monday 12th May at Woodthorpe Tennis Club. For beginners and those who haven’t played in a while, it's 4 weekly sessions, Monday evenings 6.30-7.30pm and just £20 for the whole course. Early booking is advised for this opportunity to learn from an LTA qualified coach.
