A great day on the mats for both Jack and Harry today.
A special mention to Harry, who stepped out for his very first fight and put in an outstanding performance. It takes real courage to step onto the competition mats for the first time, and he should be incredibly proud of himself. He showed great determination throughout and landed a beautiful front kick to his opponentโs face that resulted in a head count being given. While he didnโt get the win on the scorecards, the real victory was the effort, bravery, and heart he showed out there today. Thatโs something no result can take away.
Jack also had a fantastic day, securing the win by taking the first two rounds and winning on point gap. This was his first competition after moving up into a new category. He looked composed, performed well, and showed that he belongs at this level.
Both boys represented themselves, their club, and their families brilliantly. The experience gained today will only make them stronger as they continue their Taekwondo journey.
