Last weekend, Steve returned to 5 Nations BRX Supercar with the Mitsubishi Evo X after a year away.

Overall it was great. We made some good starts, it was satisfying to be in the mix with the faster cars and we enjoyed close racing with some great drivers...most of the time.

However, substantial damage was caused by avoidable contact in the Monday final, which went unpenalised and is hugely frustrating.

We're back!!

On for a brilliant result in the iconic Mitsubishi Evo VI, running 6th overall after stage 5 at Cadwell Park last weekend, Steve Hill and Hal Ridge were forced to retire with a mechanical problem.

While developments to the Ralliart Germany-built GroupN machine have included upgrades to the engine and the introduction of an SGS Racing Transmissions sequential gearbox, many parts are still of GroupN origin and as such, it was the Ralliart front diff that cried enough at Cadwell.

But, work is ongoing to solve the problems quickly, despite parts not being as easy to source as they once were, and we hope to be back out at Donington Park next weekend.

Steve will once again begin a winter programme of events in the Evo 6, this weekend with Martin Haggett sitting alongside for the first time.
