Saturday our U13 team went to play a game against Louth FC U13’s Blues

Massive thank you to Shaun for having us! 👏

The lads were once again excellent, this time we set out to keep a clean sheet and they did not disappoint. Keeping our shape was of super importance to ensure we kept them out of our net! The defence and Lewis doing a cracking job.

MOTM Liam 🏆 - Super impressive at the back. Nothing phases him, nothing gets in the way. He's a complete centre half. He can do it all and the intelligence of the young man is something to be admired. Well done Liam 🐺👏

Our new U10 team travelled over to Grimsby Borough Pumas U10 this weekend for their first game of the new season.

A fantastic performance against brilliant opposition, we set out with a clear message ‘Enjoy Yourself’. Exactly how grassroots football should be!!!

Ist game of the season for our U12 🐺 away against Cleethorpes Blue Owls a team we haven't played for a while.

The long grass and strong wind made it a difficult for both teams in an even matched 1st half.

We managed to get to the break with a 2-1 lead against the wind and expected a tough 2nd half against a strong team.

Straight from the off we played with a tempo and determination that was needed and Harvey, who was unlucky not to score more goals last season, more than made up for it today with 3 of his 4 goals in a 10 minute spell.

Bertie making his debut for us playing left back then decided to make a run and after jinking past what seemed like most of their team cooly slotted it past the keeper.

Great performance from all the players and Xander had a brilliant game showing a lot more confidence.

The opposition players, parents and coaches were a pleasure to play against and wish them all the best for the rest of the season. Thank you as well to the referee 👍🏻

Our U14s started their season this weekend unfortunately we didn't get a win but the boys battled through regardless with some of them not being 100%. The boys certainly did their best to play their football which was great to watch.

The league started today for our U11 🐺 with an away fixture.

An interesting start to the season which was definitely a game of 2 halves 🤔

1st half saw us 3-0 up, in control, Poppy with 2 good goals and work rate up front, Nicky as dependable as ever in goal with good saves and the third goal was a great team effort involving Wyatt, Evie, James and Nicky.

Clee came out after half time on a bit of a mission and scored some well taken goals to bring the game level. Despite a strong last 10 minutes we left it a bit too late and it was a fair result in the end.

As a team we will learn a lot from the performance, onwards and upwards to next weekend 😊

The first league game of the season for our U12 🐺 and with only a few pre season games to get to know each other we were a up against a strong Bardney Panthers FC.

An early goal for Bardney seemed to fire the girls up and we battled back to 1-1 through Casey by half time.

The pitch didn't suit our passing game but the girls stuck at it and a superb individual goal followed for our CM Evie before Lilah grabbed another.

Bardney never gave up and it was a real battle to the end of the match.

Thank you to Bardney for hosting us in our first league fixture, best of luck to them for the rest of the season 🩷

Louth Town U15 Girls 4–0 Gainsborough Trinity FC

A great start to our first season in the Premier League with a 4–0 win at home.

We created plenty of chances in the first half but only had Florence’s goal to show for it, going in 1–0 at half time.

More of the same in the second half with Georgia Rose making it 2–0, Maisie getting the third and Billie finishing it off with the fourth.

A really good team performance today. We looked very solid defensively, controlled the midfield and had plenty of pace out wide and up front. The work rate was really good as well, especially tracking back when we lost the ball.

We could probably have scored a few more with the chances we created, but 4 goals and a clean sheet is a great way to start the season.

We couldn’t really pick a player of the match today, so today it goes to the whole team 👏🖤🤍

Thanks to Gainsborough for a good game and all the best for the rest of the season. ⚽

Tonight our U12 boys enjoyed their annual contract signing and along with their new contract they all received a goody bag.

The boys are going into their 4th season and it's fantastic to see such a brilliant team spirit with 7 of the original 11 players still with us from the very beginning. This is an amazing achievement and long may it continue 👏

Yesterday our new U13 team went to play a game against Mablethorpe Tridents JFC U14s.

Massive thank you to Tamara and Dean for having us over 👍🏻

It was another strong performance - this team honestly has everything. Liam putting in a last ditch tackle to keep the clean sheet and Lewis producing a save which rebounded off their player and out for a goal kick in which he had no right to make. All of the lads celebrated together for both big moments like it was a world cup winning goal.

The mentality of these boys in a short space of time is something do be admired. As coaches, and I'm sure the parents will be, we are so proud watching them battle for absolutely everything 👏

This weekend our U14s had their last pre-season friendly away at Clee Town 1998.

It was a fantastic game from the off. The boys all came together, worked as a team for each other and came away victorious. Final score 1-5! We could not be prouder and neither could our amazing parents 👏
