So here we are April 30th and the last ever day of Optimum MMA.
Its been a long journey with lots of highs and lows. From starting as part of Kendojo black belt schools before having faith in my own abilities to branch out, to winning titles in a sport I never set out to partake in and through all the time helping so many people achieve their own positives and be part of that journey.
Having had the opportunity to help so many people on their journeys, from prodigy children/teens who were just naturally gifted, to those with additional needs and to those that sat on the sides and never thought they'd partake in a class.....it has been my honour and privilege to be a part of all of that and my life was made better by having those people in it.

Ive made a lot of personal memories through the years and achieved a lot of personal success but as always I have attributed that to those I had stood behind me, supporting me, guiding me and being there for me when I needed it.
The club has helped me achieve goals I never dreamt of. I achieved black belts in taekwondo & kickboxing. A purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, national kickboxing titles and kata titles, grand championships and finally before retiring from competition I achieved a 4-1 K1 full contact record and left as the contenders lightweight champion and also a 4-0 Amateur MMA record and winning the inaugural Machine MMA welterweight title belt.

I never believe I could have done any of this but those that were there for me, believed and helped me as I helped them. They supported me through competitors, they supported me through injury and they supported me as I helped myself become financially stable and turn the business into a profiteering club.

The club has seen many changes through the years and it was with student and friends support that helped my vision become reality and I will forever be grateful

As I close the door tonight for the last time I leave the club with the knowledge that at one point in my life, I made a difference and helped 100s of children & adults alike in their lives

I thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart. It's been a blast 💜💜💜💜

We are down to just 8 days of classes left

A total of 12 classes before we close the doors for good on Optimum MMA

Over the next 2 weeks I will be searching the archives and posting pictures and videos from the 15+ years i have had the club.

Starting from the days when we were still a part of Kendojo black belt schools spanning all the time and sharing memories of all the great times I have had.

If anyone has any pictures they'd like to add, I'd love to see them and post them
