This means there are likely to be significant impacts across health and social care services due to the high temperatures.
Stay safe by:

💦 Drinking lots of water
⏰ Stay in the shade between 11am and 3pm, the hottest part of the day
🏠 Closing curtains and windows exposed to direct sunlight to keep your home cool
💙 Checking in on vulnerable family, friends and neighbours

An awesome 3-out-of-3 wins for the LCC Ladies in the annual 2026 LCC charity softball fun festival. This made them the tournament winners. 🏏🐺

What an incredible turnout by some local league teams, play-for-fun teams and up-and-coming new SB teams. 9 lovely teams coming together for one special evening to raise money for the Louth Run for Life Charity in association with Cancer Research UK. Huge congratulations also go to Louth’s Run for Life charity that recently smashed through their £1 million fundraising total!!! 💪🏼
Thank you to all the volunteers who put this event together, many people to thank and who donated! To all the players and spectators who came to support this wonderful gathering. We couldn't keep doing this if it weren't for you all.

Who do you think will win?
Our duck race is set in the beautiful Hubbards Hills picnic area where so many of us have played as young children by the stepping stones. This is an amazing event fundraising for the Local Community. BBQ ~ soft drinks & Bensleys homemade ice cream will be there 🍦 🦆 😎
