Louth Football Club Louth FC is a hub for excellence, development, & inclusivity. From Grassroots to Greatness ⚽️ must have at least ten teams.

Striving for youth progression, coaching quality & club governance, our 3* FA accreditation reflects our commitment to the highest standards. Louth Football Club formally known as Louth Old Boys Football Club is an FA Charter Standard Community Club which means it offers FA trained and qualified coaches who have been DBS checked for child protection purposes and hold first aid qualifications. Comm

unity Clubs must have male and female football provision, a Mini-Soccer team, an advanced development plan, and stage at least one workshop per season to improve behaviour. At least one coach needs to have completed the specialist youth coaching module 2 and one club official needs to have attended an FA mentoring course. The club must have a schools co-ordinator and volunteer co-ordinator in addition. This enables the club to offer football opportunities for all ages. Club Profile 2023/24 THIS CLUB IS A FA CHARTER STANDARD COMMUNITY FOOTBALL CLUB. This year Louth Football Club will be running teams at U5, U6, U7, U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16, Seniors & Ladies. These teams will all play their home matches at The Pavilion, London Road, Louth. Training Venues and times will be detailed to all players and parents on a team basis. The club is run by a management committee of up to 15 officials voted into office at the Clubs AGM each June. This Years Committee Members are:-

This August, football in Louth comes together once again to remember and celebrate one of the town’s true footballing legends.

Ken “King Kenny” Westerby dedicated decades of his life to local football, managing, mentoring and supporting countless players across generations. His passion for the game, commitment to grassroots football and unwavering support for clubs throughout the town left a lasting impact on so many people. He was affectionately known as “King Kenny” and was widely respected throughout the local football community.

This match is more than just a game. It’s an opportunity for players, friends, family and supporters to come together, share memories and celebrate the life of a man who gave so much to football in Louth. Many local footballers credit Ken for giving them opportunities, guidance and a love for the game that has stayed with them throughout their lives.

After the final whistle, everyone is welcome to join us at The Brown Cow ‘Crew Yard’ for refreshments and presentations.

Donations for the Ken Westerby Memorial Fund will be collected on the day and any support would be greatly appreciated.

A true servant of local football. A mentor, a friend, and a man who will never be forgotten.

"A weekend I'll never forget representing Louth FC at St George's Park and the Great Game Conference. Here are some of the highlights from an inspiring few days with England Football, M&S Food and clubs from across the country."

What an incredible weekend representing Louth FC at the Great Game Conference at St George's Park, the home of England Football.

The Greater Game, delivered in partnership with M&S Food, is a purpose-led programme that uses the power of football to improve the health and wellbeing of young people aged 12-16 across the nation. The programme focuses on four key areas:

⚽ Move Well
🧠 Think Well
🍎 Eat Well
😴 Sleep Well

The aim is simple but powerful – to inspire young people to make at least one healthier action every week. Whether that's swapping a fizzy drink for water, getting an extra hour of sleep, going for a walk with friends or family, or taking time to plan the week ahead, small changes can make a big difference.

Over the weekend, I had the privilege of learning from some of the leading voices in football and youth development, while also meeting football legends and ambassadors including Ellen White, Emile Heskey and Fran Kirby. It was inspiring to hear how clubs across the country are using football as a vehicle for positive change within their communities.

For Louth FC, this is about much more than football. It's about creating opportunities for young people, supporting healthier lifestyles, and helping to build confidence, resilience and wellbeing through the game we all love.

There are some exciting times ahead for Louth FC as we begin working alongside The Greater Game programme, and we look forward to sharing more details in the coming months about how this initiative can positively impact our players, families and the wider community.

A huge thank you to The Greater Game team, England Football and M&S Food for delivering such an inspiring event and for their commitment to supporting the next generation.

A quick favour to support Lincolnshire FA’s Her Voice. Her Game. campaign.

We’re asking women and girls aged 14+ involved in football across Lincolnshire to complete a short survey about their experiences in the grassroots game. The feedback will help shape future work around safety, inclusion, facilities and support for women and girls in football.

What a fantastic day at the R&T Tournament in Mablethorpe for our young players!

🥇 Louth FC U9 Red were crowned tournament winners after an outstanding display of football throughout the day.

🤝 Louth FC U11 were recognised for their excellent attitude, sportsmanship and respect by winning the Fair Play Award.

👏 Louth FC U12 also represented the club brilliantly, competing with great determination and pride throughout the tournament.

A huge congratulations to all of the players, coaches and supporters who made the day such a success. Days like these showcase everything that is great about grassroots football — teamwork, development, enjoyment and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

🏆🔴⚫ LEAGUE CHAMPIONS & CUP WINNERS! ⚫🔴🏆

What a season for Louth FC Development Ladies!

Yesterday’s fantastic 5-2 victory secured the LWGFL Open Age Championship League title, completing an incredible League and Cup Double for the team.

To win one trophy is a huge achievement, but to lift both the league title and the cup in the same season is a testament to the hard work, commitment, determination and togetherness shown by every player and coach throughout the campaign.

Not only have they brought home two pieces of silverware, but they are also the only team within the club to win a league title this season – a remarkable accomplishment that deserves huge recognition.

Congratulations to every player, coach, volunteer and supporter who has been part of this journey. You’ve represented the club with pride and have been outstanding from start to finish.

Two fantastic days for the Louth Football Club U11s at the Pitchside Football - Tournaments & Events

The boys had the amazing opportunity to play at both Blundell Park and Sincil Bank, creating memories they’ll never forget. A brilliant effort from the team saw them reach the final on Saturday.

Great football, great atmosphere and brilliantly organised events throughout. Highly recommended for any grassroots teams looking for a fantastic experience!
