Bit of a topsy turvy day in the 5 Club MX5 Cup!

Qualified 4th in the wet, then was running comfortably in 3rd in race 1 before a lapse in concentration saw me bin it in the kitty litter. :(

Race 2 started 31st, getting a good start and proceeded to carve my way through the field to finish 4th and bag Drive of the Day!

We'll try to be a bit more consistent next time out - Brands at the end of April. Until next time! :)

Another fantastic weekend's racing with 5Club! God I love Cadwell!

Missed out on Friday practice but still qualified 4th, behind the usual suspects. Race 1, finished a lonely 4th, but in race 2 I really started to get it together and actually latched on to the front pack...until I threw it off, resulting in another lonely 4th.

Still, I was only 3 tenths off the fastest lap in race 2 and being able to live with those guys is a big confidence boost. As amusing as the whole 4th malarky is, our ambitions definitely do not end there!

Car felt fantastic this weekend thanks to the typical super efforts by the Haven Racing crew! Thanks guys!

Roll on the season finale at Donington in a few weeks!
