So, I managed to get back out on the trusty R6 after 13 months of recovery from my crash at Brands Hatch back in March 2022. Unfortunately my engine had other ideas 5 laps into the first session at Cadwell Park, no.3 conrod deciced enough was enough and did what conrods do at 14000rpm 😔 I'm can only assume there was some damage caused as the bike flipped through the gravel during the crash. I've sourced another doner engine from ready for to build a new and improved race engine and go again 💸💸💸💸

I've been quiet on the socials for a while now as I recover from my early season injury. The good news is my femur is healing well, the bad news is not quick enough to get out on the bike again this season 😭 I've stripped and rebuilt the old girl with her first outing being the RAF Motorsports experience day on Thursday. Good luck to my fellow TSGB'ers at this weekend

This weekend is Round 2 of the championship. Unfortunately due to my crash at Brands Hatch and the new metal holding my hip together I'll be out of action for a while. Its healing well but still a way to go before Im bike fit again. All the best to the boys and girls racing this weekend ✊️🏍💨

Good morning from Princess Royal University Hospital 😷 I've been sent a clip of my little incident from fellow competitor David Snipp of STAR Racing. I'm the third bike ahead of the camera bike, I was in 10th place at the time and as the track dropped away I lost traction on the rear. In my attempt to save it went over the high side. You can just about make out I got up close and personal with the bike while rolling around on the floor which is what caused the damage to my hip.

Race day 2. A bit late but hey 🤷‍♂️ I missed morning warmup as it was misty and damp so there was nothing to be gained. Race one went well, I started a place further back in 13th but was able to bring it home in 12th, matchig my lap times from day 1 in a lot cooler conditions so happy with that. Race 2 however 🤦‍♂️ after a good start i was immediately trading places in a top 10 battle, whilst pushing in 11th to break into the top ten my ambition was quickly caught by my ability and i highsided out of the last corner! Initially I thought i was unharmed until i put some weight on my right leg when it became apparent i'd broken my hip 😭 The marshals and med team were superb getting me to safety and hospital quickly. And as i reported on Sunday, my suit was amazing, limiting the damage to me. I had surgery yesterday to bolt things back in place, now just to recover asap and get back on it ✊️🏍💨

As a lot of you are aware I had a big crash in the last race today. The Thundersport GB team of marshals and medical staff were amazing and got me to safety and off to hospital very quickly. My airbag suit and helmet did an amazing job of protecting me from my biggest crash to date. Unfortunately i got hit by my bike as i was tumbling across the tarmac and gravel which has resulted in a broken hip. Waiting on the surgeon to screw me back together. Thanks to the team for sorting out my van, equipment and remains of my beautiful race bike 😭 top lads.
