Louth storm is a new basketball development initiative aiming to encourage the development of the game within the local area. The development plan was set up in 2009 by James Brook and Laurence Baird with the assistance from James Turner (East lindsey sports club development officer). Currently Louth Storm have a under 13 team, under 18 team, Women's and senior mens team. All teams are coached by James Brook an ex-university of Wolverhampton basketball scholarship student.
